Big and brooding, this rich, dark wine shows deep aromas of black cherry, cigar box, crème de cassis, fresh thyme, violets and toasty oak. The mid-palate is rich and ripe with flavors of wild berries, olive, wild blueberry and nutmeg. The finish is long and extracted showing well-managed acid, tannins and a lingering fruit finish.
