Debbie’s home town is Colesville, Maryland, a rural area about 15 minutes outside of Washington, D.C. When it came time for college in the mid-seventies, she decided to go west where childhood memories of family Christmas vacations lured her back to Angwin.
Debbie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Public Relations. After graduation she spent a short time working at Sutter Home Winery learning about the inner workings of a small winery. There she met her future husband Tim, while pouring wine for him and his newlywed friends who were honeymooning in Napa Valley. That was the beginning of a new great adventure, of which there have been many along the way.
Deb’s passion is horses, her love is their children and her philanthropic interests are education, animal welfare and the arts.
Deb is now enjoying focusing her energies on marketing and sales for Daviana Winery. Deb continually enhances her knowledge base by attending sensory wine classes, wine marketing, wine education and small business education at Napa Valley College, U.C. Davis and various wine trade symposiums and seminars. She looks forward to continuing these experiences as she brings Daviana wines to you.
